Winter Palace

A 5-reel video slot machine game featuring a Russian Winter theme with free spin, pick, and mystery wild bonuses.

My third game with Multimedia Games, I worked together with another developer during the pre-QA lifecycle of this game. I was responsible for the base game, the free spin, and mystery wild bonuses. I also worked directly with an artist, sound designer, and a development lead.

During development of this game, I was exposed to and learned how to use a new proprietary game engine based in JavaScript, data-driven feature sets with JSON, and data-driven sequencing written in XML. Techniques I employed included tweens, splines, shaders (HLSL), masks and stencils.
